• French Press
• Toaster Oven
• Giant Tea Strainer/Regular mesh strainer
• 1/2oz of weed for every stick of butter (8oz)

Instructions

• Preheat toaster oven to 220
• Place weed in strainer and steep in boiling water like you would for tea for 5 min
• After 5 minutes, take weed strainer out of hot water and steep/blanch in cold ice water for 1 min
• Take weed out of strainer and break it apart- Spread evenly in one layer on the toaster oven sheet over aluminum foil and toast in the oven for 1 hour
• Remove from toaster oven after 1 hour and let cool
• Boil water in a pot big enough to fit the french press in without disasterous water displacement
• Place all the weed in the french press, along with the butter- Put the lid on the french press when everything is in there
• Once water is boiling, put whole french press in the pot- Remember to not put so much water in that it sloshes over the side! Put something heavy on top of the french press so it doesn't float off
• Slowly cook at a rolling boil for 2 hours- Check the water level once in a while and add more water (enough to rise above the level of the butter+weed combo inside) when nessecary
• After 2 hours, remove french press, push down on lid to squeeze all butter from the weed, and pour into a bowl/mug
• Perfect cannabutter!! Good in the fridge for up to a month!
